Francuzów na 1815 r. robię z zestawów Warlord Games, co wiąże się z tym, że wszystkie będą w płaszczach. Trochę nad tym ubolewam, ale nakupiłem tych zestawów
zanim poznałem inne firmy produkujące figurki do napoleonki w skali 28mm.
Figurki kupiłem przez przypadek. Ktoś na grupie szukał trochę batalionów do kupienia, odezwała się parę osób i właściwie temat ucichł. Po tygodniu napisałem do każdego z tych, którzy się odezwali i okazało się, że osoba poszukująca figurek nic nie kupiła. Tylko jeden sprzedający miał figurki w 28mm i to w akceptowalnej dla mnie cenie. |
I make French for 1815 from Warlord Games sets, which means that they will all be in coats. I regret it a bit, but I bought these kits
before I met other companies producing 28mm scale Napoleon figurines.
I bought the figurines by accident. Someone in the group was looking for some battalions to buy, a few people spoke up, and the topic actually died down. After a week, I wrote to each of those who responded and it turned out that the person looking for the figurines did not buy anything. Only one seller had the figures in 28mm and it was at an acceptable price for me. |

| Jedyną rzeczą która niezbyt pasuje mi w tym zakupie to to, że jest kilka różnych kolorów płaszczów. Wolę jednolite malowanie, gdy batalion prezentuje się jakby szedł na paradę. Wiem, że są ludzie którzy gustują w obdartych batalionach tak jakby jednostka była w trakcie długiej kampanii i musiała uzupełniać zniszczone mundury z materiałów które są akurat pod ręką. Ma to swój urok, ale ja do takich osób nie należę. Doceniam jednak malującego, że nie mieszał figurek z płaszczami z tymi bez płaszczy. | The only thing that doesn't suit me very well with this purchase is that there are several different coat colors. I prefer uniform painting when the battalion looks like it's going to a parade. I know there are people who like ragged battalions as if the unit was in the middle of a long campaign and had to replenish damaged uniforms with materials that are at hand. It has its charm, but I am not one of those people. However, I appreciate the painter that he did not mix figurines with coats with those without coats. |

| Na samym początku zmieniłem podstawki z plastikowych na MDF. W zestawie brakowało mi sapera, więc dorobiłem go z figurki od Front Rank. Brakowało mi też bębniarza dlatego dodałem go z zestawu Warlorda. Pasuje idealnie ponieważ też jest w płaszczu. | At the very beginning, I changed the stands from plastic to MDF. I missed the sapper in the set, so I made it from a Front Rank figurine. I also missed the drummer, so I added him from the Warlord set. It fits perfectly because it is also in a greatcoat. |
